Real Wedding : Emily & Charlie
Rain, Roses, and Radiance: Emily & Charlie’s Garden Wedding
Emily and Charlie tied the knot last December, right in the middle of a rainy day. Determined to marry in Emily’s nan’s garden, they embraced the weather with open hearts and plenty of umbrellas.
As you can see from these photos, Emily and Charlie didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits. Their wedding party brought all the joy, laughter, and unwavering support, making the day unforgettable despite the drizzle.
When planning your wedding, the weather is one of the few things that’s completely out of your control. That’s why it’s so important to be prepared for all scenarios. A little organisation goes a long way in avoiding stress on the morning of your big day.
While rain on your wedding day may not be ideal, life sometimes throws us curveballs—and you only get this day once. So take it in your stride, lean into the moment, and make beautiful memories, whatever the forecast.
We especially loved designing with our favourite summer roses; including the delicate blush tones of the Pink O’Hara roses you can see featured in Emily’s bouquet. She envisioned an all-pink floral theme, and the soft, romantic blooms brought her vision to life. And as it turns out—the flowers didn’t mind the rain one bit!
